DREALOCKS START-UP
CROCHET START-UP= The outcome of dreadlocks largely depends on hair density and length though one can choose any thickness and/or quantity he/she wants. The hair locks instantly and can we washed anytime thereafter without any fear of the dreadlocks going loose.
WAX START-UP= Both Dread Wax and Tightening Gel work great for starting locks. Dread Wax has one advantage in that it is not (quickly) water soluble. After locking up, you can wash your hair (after the initial two week wait) and the Wax's effect will help hold those knots together.
DREADLOCK EXTENSION
Existing dreadlocks can be extended in terms of length with either real human hair or synthetic extensions. It can also be a combination of dreadlock start up and extension at the same time. The joint is hardly visible. We encourage customers to book at least 2 days prior to date of appointment to allow time to prepare the extensions. They come in different colours including ombre.
CROCHET & RE-TWIST RETOUCH
CROCHET RETOUCH- Dreadlock retouch is a process whereby we take care of the new hair, crocheting it into a dreadlock ensuring that it is smooth and even from the scalp to the tip. We do not use any chemicals, thread or wool but only a crocheting technique.
RE-TWIST RETOUCH- Re-Twisting is maintenance done to tighten your dreads. The main idea is to put a locking cream of some type on the hair or dreads, twist it and allow it to dry twisted.
